How do our Doctors keep up to date on all the current dental techniques and materials?

Dentistry is not just our job. It is our passion. We regularly attend educational seminars to stay current on the changes that are occurring in the dental field. Both of our doctors belong to The Academy of General Dentistry, an organization strongly committed to continuous education and life-long learning. Dr. Rabedeaux has earned a Mastership in the AGD. Less than 2% of the dentists in North America earn this award. Dr Parsons is actively pursuing his Fellowship in the AGD, which requires extensive commitment and dedication to education.

What makes you different from any other dental office I could go to in the Newton area?

Our priority has always been to provide a great environment for each of our patients. We listen to your concerns and are dedicated to helping you achieve the smile of your dreams. Our office is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, and our staff cares about your well-being. Our dedication to our patients truly sets us apart from other dental offices.

What should I do if I have a dental emergency?

Call our office at 641-792-2780.

What is your policy when it comes to canceling an appointment?

Once you make an appointment at our office, that time is exclusively reserved for you. If for some reason, you can no longer make your appointment, we ask that you call with a 24-hour notice to reschedule your appointment. This helps us keep a well-run office and lets us know if we can fill your original time and assist those who need to be seen.

How do I know when I need to come in for another cleaning?

We recommend having a routine dental cleaning at least every six months. Depending on your oral health, we may recommend more frequent appointments. We will schedule your next appointment before you leave our office. We will make sure to follow up with a card in the mail reminding you of your appointment date as it approaches. We will also give you a call with a reminder a few days before your appointment. If you prefer a text or email reminder, please let us know.

At what age should my child start going to the dentist?

Early visits to the dentist give your child an advantage. We recommend bringing your child in for a full examination of their mouth, jaws, tonsils, and airway by age two. We design these visits to be quick, easy and fun!  We’ll help you and your child develop good oral care habits that last a lifetime!

During their early visits, we will be able to determine if your child has any dental infections, jaw growth, or airway concerns before they become severe. We will then be able to complete the ideal treatment in the most non-invasive way possible.

Contact our office to schedule your child’s visit!

How can I improve my smile?

The answer to this question is different for every person! Your smile is as unique as you are. Each person has a different set of individual needs, which is why we recommend coming in for a consultation appointment. That way, our doctors can recommend what is best for your mouth. We offer a wide range of restorative and cosmetic services to help you achieve the smile of your dreams!
